The Kerala School Rankings

Three tables for 2026 — Top 10 Government, Top 10 Private and Top 10 Integrated schools — scored on published results and structural depth, and cross-checked against published national school rankings.

30 schools · 3 categories EWISR 2025-26 cross-checked Independent editorial selection

Three tables. Three #1 schools.

Each category carries its own #1 — the school that scored highest on the five published criteria within its peer group. Every winner gets the same treatment; every table is cross-checked against published national positions.

How this ranking was decided

Five criteria, applied across all three tables. For Government and Private schools, published national positions and board results carry the weight; for Integrated schools, entrance results and structural depth decide the order.

01

Published results track record

NEET / JEE results for the integrated table; board results and published national ranking positions for government and private tables — verified from public announcements, not marketing claims.

02

Depth of provision

For integrated schools: is entrance preparation inside the timetable, or an after-school add-on? For all schools: how complete is the academic programme relative to its peer group?

03

Faculty & mentorship

Subject specialists plus structured student support — measured by published faculty credentials and disclosed mentoring systems.

04

Parent visibility

Structured, scheduled progress reporting. Parents should hear how a child is tracking before the result, not after.

05

Campus & discipline

Infrastructure built for focused study — test halls, computer-based exam facilities, mentorship spaces, and a timetable that protects study time.

An editorial note. The Kerala School Quality Index (KSQI) is an independent research initiative, unaffiliated with any school or institution. These rankings are editorial selections based on publicly available information, published national school rankings (EWISR 2025-26, as publicly reported) and public result data as of August 2026. They are not a government ranking, an accreditation or a statutory recognition of any kind. Where a national category position exists, it is shown inside the table itself. Where a figure originates with an institution, it is attributed as such. Rankings are a starting point, never a substitute for a campus visit.

Results are the record.

Every table shows its sources inside the rows. Wherever a school sits on these lists, a campus visit is always advised before a decision.
